What is the warranty activation date?

Warranty starts when you register the device with Apple.

Not familiar with starting Apple Care. Will it automatically start when the device is activated? Do you have a way of verifying that the Apple Care is purchased and associated with this device?

The only way to verify it with Apple is to provide the serial number and purchase date. I just went ahead and did that and took a snapshot of the result and I posted it with the pictures.

The place of purchase missed up by not adding the AppleCare+ as it was paid for. It will be activated Monday and I will provide proof of that once done. It was $299 for 3 years on top of the base price of $2199.

Thanks for the follow-up. I assume you will just post another picture like the one you just included that will show the warranty date extended?
