Hi Christopher,
No, I don't have the Nintendo Land game with it. I only bought games virtually via the Nintendo Store (I mostly replayed through 3-4 Zelda games). However, the console and controller work perfectly (as far as I can tell!).
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Michael
I had my Wii U from 2013 to 2017, and I was looking to buy one again for memories; do you know if it’s possible to play downloaded games on a different console when the original has long been factory reset and traded-in?
I'm not 100% sure so don't want to give you incorrect information, but I would imagine that, if you purchased the digital games from the Nintendo Store on 1 Wii U, that you could sign in on a new one and re download them onto that one. I've done that before on a PS4 with no issues, but I didn't try that with this Wii U or any other Nintendo products. I'll do some researching and get back to you if I find any better information.
This link seems to suggest that redownloading items bought through the Nintendo eShop just requires you to sign in under your Nintendo ID (on the new console), go to purchased, and redownload the game onto the new Wii U.
What could be done if there’s no way to get it to work? Would you be willing to accept a return, since you’re offering the advice that you believe it would work?
I'd ideally like to keep returns strictly for any technical issues with the device rather than logistics with your previous purchases on other devices, primarily because I don't have much knowledge regarding Nintendo shop downloads (I only had the Wii U for a few months and just downloaded 2 games). The information I'm going off of is from Nintendo's website which suggests that if you purchased the games with a credit card, still have your Nintendo ID, and make the new Wii U your primary device, you should be able to redownload them. However, I can't speak with certainty if your specific situation fits that.
You could possible contact a Nintendo customer service person and see what they say. I would imagine that's a very common question for them and could help you feel better about a purchase (from me or anyone else!)
I understand! I’ll let you know if I have any other questions.
Do you have the pad charger? What’s the lowest you can go?
Hi Salvador,
Yes, I have the pad charger. Included is the Wii U console, controller pad, HDMI cable, power cord, controller charger, and the motion sensor (I never used the motion sensor but I'm assuming it works). I'd be willing to negotiate, would $130 work?
Did you factory reset the console? Is your Nintendo Network ID unlinked? I just verified with Nintendo that I’d be able to get all My previously purchased games, and just want to be sure I wouldn’t run into any other snags.
I would do $130, no problem. Please change the price so I can make the purchase.
Thanks a lot
