Nest Thermostat -E

I bought the Nest Thermostat E but it wasn't compatible with the wiring on my current unit. It was never installed and was only out of the box for about 10 minutes. All original packing, parts, and materials are just as they were when it was opened. It is literally brand new - just missing the clear plastic that was around the box. The store where I bought it wouldn't accept a return because it was opened, even though it was never installed.
