Listing approved. Thanks for using Swappa.
$500
Thanks for the offer, but this is a very good example of this computer so I won’t take that $500
What is the battery cycle count?
Great question- I will get you an exact answer and upload a picture in the next couple of days, but it has been used consistently over the last 4 years and the battery health is still Normal.
Would you take $600?
Thank you for the offer, I would like closer to the asking price.
The cycle count for this device is 924.
That’s a pretty high battery cycle count Macbook Pros batteries are rated for a max count of 1000 so the battery will likely need to be replaced soon. $600 is a good selling price for this Mac since it would likely cost $129 to change the battery on this Mac book Pro
A charge cycle is one full charge and discharge of the battery. Every modern Mac battery is rated for 1000 cycles; some older models (pre-2010) are rated for 500 or 300 cycles. While the battery won’t suddenly fail when it reaches its limit, it will start to hold less and less charge as it approaches that limit. Eventually, you’ll need to keep your Mac connected to its power cable to use it.
Max I’d be willing to pay for this MBP with a battery count like that is $625 cause I believe it’s in great condition other than the battery cycle count and I know I will have to change the battery once I get it.
I understand your concern, but the MBP should still retain about 80% capacity well past 1000 cycles. I would be willing to take $675 because I anticipate the battery not needing to be replaced for a long time.
Ok I can meet you half way and go $650 let me know if you’d like to move ahead with the deal.
Thank you for the counter, but I won't be able to accept your offer.
Ok let me know if you change your mind...
I have edited the listing to $650. If you are still interested, please let me know if you would like any more picture and if you would like the used hardshell case included (incase brand in used condition).
Great thanks! Purchasing today

$600 and ill buy it today for sure!
Thank you for the offer, $650 is the lowest I am willing to go. I initially had the listing at $700, so $650 is already $50 cheaper than I was wanting.
