I've had the device in my possession for about 3 months. I first made the purchase in May. This was actually a replacement for the phone I'd broken previously. So in all honesty it looks as good as new to me. I did not have a screen protector applied and there could be minor scratches. The ports have a little bit of dirt/discoloration inside from frequent usage.

Excuse me for being naggy here. I'm not familiar with TMo's service plans. So did you get a refurbished-box unit or was it brand new?

Don't worry about it! I'm more than happy to answer your questions. I received a brand new device with their protection 360 which offers upgrades on EIP devices. It didn't come in the typical packaging from a phone retailer if that's what your asking, instead just an ordinary cardboard box. But everything inside was brand new: the phone, charger, headphones, etc.

$280 and I will buy right now.
