This model was originally $1799 it has better speakers, faster SSD and Wifi over the base model configuration. It also has 2 fans rather than 1. I have first hand experience that this model is far superior than the base $1299 model. This model all said and done was $2100 when purchased.

ONLY HAS 17 BATTERY CYCLES- Never used outside of the house.
