hi, could you run a battery test and post a photo of the results?
ctrl+shift+t to open the terminal, then simply type battery_test and hit enter to run. thanks!
I will try this later today IF I can do it without going through the setup procedures.
I started up the laptop on my lunch hour and it just displays the new startup screen. Tried entering as per your instruction but no result - still displays the start up screen.
I followed SWAPPA instructions and did the "Powerwash" to prepare it for sale. It has less than half dozen hours of "on" time/use so the battery is as new as it comes for anything that's been turned on before.
Without battery test results, I'll offer $275.
Let's see if I have this right. You propose a strange battery "test" on a virtually new laptop that is prepared per
Swappa recommendations which precludes the test in the first place. And when the "test" is not performed you offer a lower price based on that.
Seriously bad behavior I would say.
No
An "offer" in ANY case is not bad behavior, it is how a sale is accomplished to everyones satisfaction on this type of site. If you want to sell you need to be at least helpful to potential buyers. "Niceness" goes both ways. You turned my off from making an offer even without battery stats.
Battery state is an important consideration when purchasing a used laptop. The condition of the screen, keyboard, etc. are all independent of that and could all look pristine while the battery state could be less than so, especially if you're someone who takes good care of your stuff like you appear to be. Your price is reasonable, but I won't be willing quite go there without a little more information and that's why I offered what I did.
I didn't intend to offend. In fact, if you did provide battery information, I think more people would be willing to pay the price you're asking because you appear to have a very nice device here.
