with todays 16" announcement of a 2399 for the base model with 512SSD, it is hard to pay this price. any flexibility or are you set at this price? (have considered just getting a refund for the Applecare?)
Yep, the price is flexible. Anyone can feel free to make me an offer, I just don't really know what I'd go for at this point. I mostly stuck it at what it is due to the extra price of the AppleCare+ that I paid for, which put it at ~2800 for this model. But yeah, understandably, the newer model puts a damper on it. But nah, I wouldn't be able to get a refund for it this far out.

Well Daniel, I sure learned something today. There we go. AppleCare+ has been canceled and refunded, and the price has been adjusted accordingly.
