Haha, nuts, you have a crazy good eye. I gave the screens really good rub down and it’s clear except for the micro scratch.

I’ve updated description.

I can do two things, either do next day replacement and get Apple to replace it for a brand new one at the same price or I can drop it $50 and you can do the same when you get the iPad. They’ll send one to you brand new, next day.

Hello mrBrightside, the last comment posted on Oct. 23, referenced possible unit replacement under Apple Care due to scratches on the screen. As I have just reviewed your posting and not familiar with the price history, have you lowered the price to reflect the minor scratches and the option to replace the unit is now off the table? Sorry been busy! It hasn't been replaced. Price has been dropped to $885 for purposes of you replacing with Apple for $49.

But the hairline scratch doesn't affect anything in terms of usability or such, so unless you're inclined on 100% on design being flawless it can work for most.
