Is that a slight scratch on the upper right menu button?

Thanks and good luck with your sale.

Not that I see on the watch. Maybe I need to post new pictures?

I am not a professional seller. This is my first listing. I reviewed the pictures & will post new ones. The slight scratch is a glare. There is the Garmin logo recessed on that button and the glare makes it look odd.

Thanks Dave. I thought it was glare but I wanted to ask. I was looking at your 5X+ because it was the only 5 series with the Pulse Ox, which I need for high altitude work. I'm probably just going to grab a 6.

Your listing and photos look good. No need to post anything new.

Good luck with your sale.

Thanks Doug. I used pulse ox while sleeping, it drained battery life and it added much more data for me. High altitude I can see where it can help you identify your rate of aclimation.

Oct 06, 2019 - 09:40 PM

Thanks Dave. Need the Pulse Ox while flying. More convenient (and thus used more) than the finger Pulse Ox readers. 5X+ was the only 5 series to have it. All the 6's do.

Yea, I played with it while flying. I noticed everyone getting drowsy. I tracked pulse ox and perceived altitude. Very interesting. I'll leave the pictures. Thanks for your feedback.

Oct 08, 2019 - 09:01 PM

Sorry Dave... I'm comparing the 6 and the 5x+. I'm actually a pilot, and usually fly in non-pressurized aircraft.. thus needing a Pulse-Ox watch.

How long were you actually wearing the watch? Couldn't be long for it to be Mint. And the upper right red (activity list) button.. that's not a scratch? Original owner?

If I go with the 5X+ and yours is still available, I'll purchase ASAP.

Thanks

Doug,

They sure did confuse the heck out of things with the new 6 series, so many options.
I miss my VFR PPL days, it sounds like you are instrument rated plus.
Ownership, just under two months, original owner, no scratches. I can send any picture you want, then you can decide.

Doug also uploaded two more pictures. (I really that that watch face.) You can see the button has the Garmin logo embedded(sunk into the button).

Sorry for checking out.. .I'm on a trip.

Yes Sir, lots of flying. 40 years worth and 35ish as a Charter & CFI... although it's not my day job. Loads of high altitude flying means I should wear a pulse ox on my finger to test at times... I'd rather just have it on my wrist.

The scratch I saw was actually just a shadow of the Garmin logo. The watch looks great.

I see it's not for sale. Hopefully you sold it or decided to keep it.

Best regards, Doug

Hey, Doug that sounds way cool. Actually, the listing expires every 7 days of so. Swappa wants to keep listings fresh, I guess.

Oct 16, 2019 - 07:56 PM

Hi Dave - I see it's live again. Anything you can do to close the gap between you and the others? If not, no worries as I want you to get a number you're OK with. I want to wrap this up before my next trip

Oct 17, 2019 - 03:31 AM

Hey Doug, Could you plz tell me the name of the watch face you are using ? Thanks.

Oct 17, 2019 - 10:20 AM

Ahmed, I am guessing that's for Dave P - the seller.

Oct 17, 2019 - 03:24 PM

You're right Doug, Sorry for the mix up.

Doug, what I meant was I am negotiable. What number are you thinking?

Oct 18, 2019 - 07:07 AM

Good morning Dave, there's $80 difference between two identical 5X+ Sapphires (save for the band which I don't care about). Maybe split the difference and I'll go with the fellow aviator's timepiece.

Dave P. Seller

Doug, I can live with that. I'll drop it to $470 total, which includes Swappa fees. Let me get it boxed up and ready to ship out.

Doug, thank you. All looks good on my end, getting box prepped to ship out shortly.
