Battery cycles?
Video Card Iris Pro?
Any issues with the anti glare coating flaking?

Hi Scott - I believe that a new battery was installed about 4 months prior to the new motherboard install. (I'm not sure how many cycles, and don't know how I can check without finishing the OS install - I have the computer wiped and ready to go with a fresh install.)

Sorry, not sure...

No, none.

Sorry, I couldn't more definitively answer the first two questions. Thanks for your interest.

Any paperwork for the motherboard change?

I know $800 is low but that is all i have budgeted

Sorry, I can't put my hands on the paperwork right now. I've reached out to the local Apple Repair Center that did the work to get a copy of the repair work done. I'll message back as soon as I hear from them...

I just uploaded the paperwork from City Mac showing the recent Motherboard replacement. (It's in the pics.)

Is this macbook still under apple care warranty?

Secondly, I can give you $900 for it tonight

I'm not sure if it's still under warranty. (For the new repairs...) I did not buy Apple Care.

Thanks for the offer, I need closer to my asking price. I've already priced it lower than other similar models out there.

Jeffrey C. Seller
Oct 14, 2019 - 04:11 PM

How about $900?

- Oct 15, 2019 - 07:27 AM

Jeff. thanks for the reply. I just get a little concerned with the new motherboard on there. That could make this a really good deal or a lemon and I'm not sure I want to take that risk another over $900

Just lowered price to $900.

That is a pretty good ding in the top case.
Does it put pressure on the screen and cause any issues?

Jeffrey C. Seller
Oct 17, 2019 - 07:05 AM

No, not at all...

- Oct 18, 2019 - 10:35 PM

May I ask why you're selling it right after it being repaired? Also are there any issues with it post repair? And do you happen to have the original box?

Jeffrey C. Seller

Sure thing... I was overseas when it died on me. (In NZ - no Apple repair stores there.) So, I bought a new MacBook and repaired this one when I returned to the States. No issues after the repair. Sorry, no, I don't have the original box.
