Garmin Forerunner 25.
For your consideration is a Garmin Forerunner 25, black/purple in color. My wife has not used this watch for some time. It's been tucked away in a drawer, unused. I recharged it, connected it to my phone using the connect app and it still works perfectly. Battery life is still solid. I did sync it through Garmin Express. This does a refresh sync with your local satelites so the watch can acquire the sat link quicker before starting your activity. This is necessary, usually weekly, for maximum effectiveness.
