The Nillkin case is a full protective folio with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard and a built-in carry handle. It charges via USB-C and pairs over Bluetooth rather than using Apple's Smart Connector. Build quality is excellent and it offers considerably more drop protection than Apple's Magic Keyboard.

Nano-Texture Glass was a $100 factory upgrade offered only on the 1TB and 2TB models. The etched matte finish cuts glare almost entirely — excellent for reading documents or working near windows and under bright light. Because it was limited to the highest storage tiers, these are uncommon on the used market.
