This is the high-memory configuration (purchased at about $5,300 new) that has become nearly impossible to buy affordably during the current memory shortage. The 96GB of unified memory is ideal for local LLM work — it comfortably runs large quantized models in LM Studio or Ollama entirely in memory — as well as video editing, VMs, and heavy multitasking. A 4TB SSD alone is a spec that now costs a small fortune new.
