This is a T-Mobile upgrade. To ensure a clean activation of YOUR line, follow these steps:
Step 1: The "Skip" Method
At the "Connect to mobile network" screen, tap "Skip" or "Cancel".
Do NOT select "Set up your eSIM" here, or it will show a "Contact T-Mobile" error.
Finish setup until you reach the Home Screen.
Step 2: Transfer Your Number
Once on the Home Screen and connected to Wi-Fi:
Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs.
Select + Add SIM > "Transfer a SIM from another device".
