Samsung Galaxy A36 5G

I just purchased this Samsung Galaxy A36 & got it in the mail today just to realize I accidently purchased a Verizon carrier version. Visible saids it is locked to Verizon,
and when I called Verizon says no info on it so it is clean as I purchased it as a new refurbished. If I send it back I'll be hit with a restocking fee. It should have the Allstate phone coverage for 1 year but I never got verification.
