The overall size of the phone goes from 6.2 (H) by 3.0 (W), to 5.7 (H) by 2.7 (W), and the display shrinks from 5.5-inches to 5.0-inches. Similarities between the two phones include the 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage as well as the 8MP front-facing camera. However, the Pixel 2 does feature a newer Snapdragon 835 processor with the Pixel Visual Core and Security Module, as well as other new additions such as water resistance, Active Edge technology, and a 12.2MP dual-pixel rear camera setup.
