Apple iPad Pro 12.9" 5th Gen 2021 Reviews

iPad Pro 12.9 5th Gen speaks for itself. They’re in short supply new at retail and much more difficult to find used, particularly at an appropriate price for used. My daily user was a pro 12.9 1st Gen cellular. I don’t have home internet/Wi-Fi and rely on cellular for all of my online activity. I decided to upgrade to take advantage of 5g connectivity. I’m a senior with vision issues and found the large screen is much easier for me to see than the smaller “standard” size. Would much prefer the smaller size for convenience, weight, footprint, etc, but truly need the large screen to see. I don’t need many of the features of the pro …. the 3 primary ones in order are: 5g, screen size, speakers (hearing difficulties). Didn’t want to wait until end of year for other new models with 5g to come out. I always buy used, older Apple products. This is my most current and expensive Apple product to date and will probably be my last tablet purchase. Saved about $300 over retail and extremely happy with purchase and my experience on Swappa.

There really wasn't a way to afford this iPad Pro new, so I began shopping for a used one and found the perfect one at Swappa. This iPad was a great alternative to a Macbook Pro. We had an old one that we wanted to upgrade from. Getting a new Macbook Pro with the M1 processor was quite a bit more expensive than this, and it wouldn't have been touchscreen. By getting this, we get the best of both worlds - the newer M1 processor and touch. This is a great tablet, and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a larger screen and touch. Just as a comparison, this has the same M1 processor and the same amount of RAM that we looked at on a Macbook Pro.

Amazing screen, works as a laptop replacement with the magic keyboard, and iOS/iPadOS is one of my favorite operating systems. I don't use it to watch media, but if I did I'd be happy because it looks incredible on this display.

Yeah, it's expensive, but for me the large size (only available on the Pro), Face ID, and larger keyboard make it worth it. Great device.

Nice update over my first generation iPad pro. Fast processor, face id is convenient, screen takes a lighter touch and great resolution and sound. Now that I have 5g in my rural home with this 5g pad it is great.

Fast, snappy, good apps, but screen is less than perfect due to blooming in high contrast images.
