Swappa has added video to listings! If a picture is worth a thousand words, than a video is worth so much more. Set your listing apart with a short video showcasing why a buyer should purchase your listing.
Increase buyer confidence by showing off your device from every angle. You don’t need to upload an edited masterpiece, just a short demonstration showing the device is in good working condition.
Don’t want to talk or be in front of the camera? You don’t have to. Hold the device in your hand and rotate it around. Give a brief visual tour of your device and any accessories included in your listing.
Feel free to get creative! Just make sure you are accurately depicting the device you will ship to your buyer.
Listing video is an optional feature so if it’s not for you, there’s no pressure to use it.
Video Requirements
Only 1 video is allowed per listing.
- Video size must be 100 MB or less
- Video length must be 90 seconds or less
- Many video encoding formats are supported, including MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, FLV, MPEG-2 TS, MPEG-2 PS, MXF, LXF, GXF, 3GP, WebM, MPG, and QuickTime
Content Policy
- The subject of the video must be the device listed
- Listing videos are subject to staff review and approval
- Media uploaded to Swappa is subject to Terms of Use and must adhere to Marketplace Policies
Add Video to Your Listing
To add a video to your listing, click the Upload Listing Video button at the top of your listing page.
You’ll be taken to a video upload page where you can drag and drop the video.
After uploading a video, it will take a little time to process. Swappa staff will review and approve the video once it is processed so it may take some time for the video to appear on your listing.
