When I received my phone it would not charge. It's saying it's at zero even when on a charger. It will also not update battery percentage.

phone came in a day before it was suppose to arrive , let me say it looked great I got it in good condition I didn’t see any scratches or cracks which is great ! The battery capacity is 87% which is ok! the packaging was very poor tho . overall 10/10!thank you
