Galaxy Note 5 vs Galaxy Note 8

Upgrading from the Galaxy Note 5 to the Galaxy Note 8 meant skipping a generation, the Galaxy Note 7. Not all users see the need to upgrade each year, but going from the Note 5 to Note 8 was a common upgrade path for many due to the release and recall of the Galaxy Note 7. The Galaxy Note 8 arrived with a larger display, coming in at 6.4-inches, and with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (on the global model). The Note 8 also brought an improved S Pen, an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, a 3300 mAh battery, and a dual-camera array on the back. The Note 8 had a 12MP wide-angle and 12MP telephoto camera setup.
