Galaxy Note 5 vs Galaxy Note 7

Upgrading from the Galaxy Note 5 to a Galaxy Note 7 brought some confusion and some issues. Despite the numbers going from a 5 to a 7, the Galaxy Note 7 was the direct successor to the Galaxy Note 5. Samsung did not release a Galaxy Note 6. The Galaxy Note 7 was also recalled due to battery issues and later re-released as the Galaxy Note 7 FE (Fan Edition). The Note 7 Fan Edition feature set included a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display that had a new always-on option that was able to show the clock and alerts for new notifications. Other features of the Note 7 FE included 64GB of internal storage, the return of a microSD card slot, 3220 mAh battery, 5MP front-facing camera, and a 12MP rear-facing camera.
