Phone had no visible dents or scratches. All accessories mentioned arrived as described. Camera was normal for photo and video, and microphone functioned normally during video. Called/received calls over mobile network. Bluetooth successfully worked with earbuds. Phone received data normally over wifi. Battery life is typical of a new model. No-nonsense sale.

The tablet was factory reset out of the box and was 98% charged. The only wear I could see on the device is on the cover for the cards and it was minimal. Seller stuffed the box with plastic bags for protection and I'll probably do the same in the future having felt how secure the contents were when I picked up the box. As far as I'm concerned this could be considered a brand-new tablet and for the price -- to have 1st-party case included -- I couldn't be happier with the hardware.

My only complaint is with Verizon. Multi-user support has been disabled on this tablet -- something I never thought I'd have to double-check and why they would do this is beyond me. Awful move from an awful company. Never again, Verizon.
