Because of some funky Sprint internal issues (phone was blacklisted in Sprint's internal records because it was used on fi, a non-Sprint network that uses Sprint towers... seriously?) Nobody knew about this except for a high-level tech within Sprint so I really can't fault anybody for that. It took about 5 hours on the phone and 2 trips to the sprint corporate store over several weeks to get the new sim card activated and unlocked. Then, It turns out the Nexus 5X has a security feature that prevents any new person from using the phone after a factory reset unless you disable the lock screen BEFORE doing the factory reset. Justin and I didn't know this beforehand and Justin bent over backward to help us get it to work. He even gave us his google password so we could get past this, now THAT's going above and beyond. So, overall, it was a terribly frustrating process but I give Justin an A for his responsiveness and helpfulness as we went through the process. I would buy from him again.
