Things went from bad to worse. The seller underpaid for shipping (which took over a week) and I had to pay to pick up the package (thankfully that was later refunded with the help of Swappa). Then the phone I received could not be activated. I talked with Spectrum multiple times and they could not activate the phone but the seller refused to believe that it could not be activated. The seller provided a website screenshot to bolster their case which ironically showed the phone was unusable as it was still locked to a previous user. The seller only agreed to take back the phone after Swappa staff were involved. The process took nearly 4 weeks--2 weeks of back and forth about the unusable phone and 2 weeks to get a return label. I shipped back the phone, saw it was received, and had to reminded them to process my refund which took another 5 days. Bottom line, worse experience on Swappa in over 8 years and I will NEVER buy from this seller again.

How can we unlock the phone?

Fast delivery. Phone was in great shape.

The phone I received could not be activated. I took it to a Verizon corporate store and had an employee show me the activation error, I took a picture, and I uploaded it to let the seller know. The seller refused to believe that it could not be activated and kept repeating over and over that the Verizon website says it can be activated and I kept telling them the website does a quick check but an actual Verizon employee showed me that it can't be activated. The seller only agreed to take back the phone after Swappa staff were involved and they also had to tell the seller not to charge me a restocking fee. Next the seller says they'll send a return shipping label. After 2 weeks without receiving it I remind them and finally get it. I shipped back the phone, saw it was received, and had to reminded them to process my refund. They said 24 hours for PayPal, but still no refund so I remind again alerting staff, then it's finally refunded. Terrible experience.

Bought the phone, 18 days later I am not able to use it. T-Mobile says it’s blocked because it was reported stolen. The seller keeps arguing that it’s the T-Mobile that’s faulty. I have six lines and the only line/phone that’s doesn’t work is the one bought from this seller. Buyer Beware!
