The phone was definitely not in "mint condition" as advertised, but I did not realize the various problems with it until a few weeks after the sale...(until I was able to verify that the problems were real and not fixable)......and yes these were defects, which were not advertised Overrall, the phone is usable, but only in fair (at best) condition (and the charger it came with was 100% useless, but that was a minor issue compared with the phone-itself issues).
p.s. One issue was a broken proximity sensor, which took a while to diagnose....but which made some apps unusable.
