I ordered the phone on 12-19-2014 received it on 12-23-2014 and had it activated on that date. The phone was in mint condition and works excellent and came with original box. A Verizon staff examined the phone and was impressed with the price and phone and inquired about swappa. I gave you guys an excellent recommendation. The Mint iPhone 5 looks great!

However, two things learned from this transaction.

Buying a used Sprint iPhone 5, the nano SIM card may not be unlocked, which means it can't be activated for the new carrier, even the Sprint customer service can't help.

Secondly, after receiving the iPhone, go to Setting, General and do a "Reset" first. That will bring the phone back to original manufacturer setting. It may save a 24 hours wait time, when even the new carrier doesn't know for sure why the phone has been shown activated online, the phone itself just can't find and "Searching..." for the service forever.

Communication with seller was outstanding. He sent the incorrect phone for the carrier it was advertised for, and I was wary it was a scam. However, he refunded all of our money, plus the shipping to return the phone.

He was very up front about the mistake, and took full responsibility. Because of this I would do business with him again.
