I received the phone in excellent almost mint condition physically. Phone functions as it should.

The reason that I decided to give this seller a negative feedback was because when I advised him about the problem, his response was “why don’t you fix it yourself.”

Whether or not he meant this maliciously, it came off somewhat abrasive. When you purchase a phone on swappa, and find that something is wrong with it, you as a seller are responsible for satisfying your customer, or are obligated to accept a return in some instances.

My best advice to you as a new seller, listen to your buyer’s concerns, show empathy, and attempt to come up with a reasonable reconciliation.

The seller did end up making it right, and I would recommend giving this seller an opportunity.
