Great expierence

Received a PS2 that didn’t work when it arrived. Came with about 10 games and it only read three. Let seller know and he said he had only tested using one or two of the games. I figured it was a few damaged games and closed the sale, zero reason to think the console itself was bad (he’s a long time seller with good reviews). I bought new games and DVD and the console still didn’t play anything. Just to be sure I shelled out for another PS2. Every single game worked. Seller still refused a refund, even after showing him a video of the console not working. For almost a week the seller fought tooth and nail to avoid a refund, stating the console worked fine when it was shipped, and since I had closed the sale, it was done and he was no longer on the hook.

I have no idea why this was a hill the seller wanted to die on. Maybe it’s the principle? He will not issue a refund for any reason, even in the face of the evidence. Clearly a one off thing, but dude cannot handle the unexpected
