The phone had a chip near the camera that seemed to not affect anything at first, but when I started taking photos with the iPhone XS Max in low light, it was apparent that whatever was responsible for low light sensitivity wasn't working correctly. Along with the fact that you're not supposed to sell any phones with chips or cracks, I asked for a refund. Initially the seller was pretty adamant that nothing was wrong even though I showed photo proof between my work iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max he sent me, and there was a visible difference in camera quality, he argued that he shouldn't have to refund. It's understandable but eventually he let me return the phone and gave me a full refund.

It could have definitely been a much worse transaction but I'm glad he was able to make the return easily.
