Google announced the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro at the “Made by Google” event on October 6, 2022. The Pixel 7 was immediately available for pre-order and began shipping on October 13, 2022. Google is touting the Pixel 7 as being the “sleekest design yet” along with an improved camera with new features such as Photo Unblur and Guided Frame. The Pixel 7 also arrived with several new and updated features such as Face Unlock, Assistant voice typing, and Direct My Call. The Pixel 7 is powered by Google's next-generation Tensor G2 processor and launched with Android 13.
