Galaxy S6 vs Galaxy S8 Active

Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 to a newer generation Galaxy S8 Active brings a handful of hardware improvements. The most obvious is the Galaxy S8 Active's rugged, MIL-STD-810G rated body, and massive 4,000mAh battery. Other hardware upgrades include a larger 5.8-inch 18.5:9 (flat) screen, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, IP68 water resistance, always-on display, micro SD card support, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, iris scanner, and USB-C charging port. The camera, although a lower resolution 12MP sensor, also sees a slight improvement with dual pixel phase detection autofocus, and larger f/1.7 aperture lens.
