Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 to a newer generation Galaxy S7 Active means you'll see several improvements in performance and design. The Galaxy S7 Active is much more rugged, with reinforced body and IP68 water resistance. It also features a much larger 4,000mAh battery, as well as other S7 upgrades, like Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 12MP camera with Dual Pixel autofocus (and larger f/1.7 aperture lens), always-on display, and micro SD card support.
