Galaxy S6 edge+ vs Galaxy S8 Plus

Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ to a newer generation Galaxy S8+ brings a handful of hardware improvements. The biggest is the Galaxy S8+'s larger 6.2-inch 18.5:9 curved screen and 3,500mAh battery. Other upgrades include a Snapdragon 835 processor, IP68 water resistance, always-on display, micro SD card support, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, iris scanner, on-screen navigation buttons, and USB-C charging port. While the camera has a lower resolution 12MP sensor, it's still an overall improvement with dual pixel phase detection autofocus and larger f/1.7 aperture lens for better low light shooting.
