The phone was marketed as Locked to T-Mobile but came network locked to Metro PCS, because of this I could not use it on T-Mobile. The seller tried to make it right with alternate solutions, ultimately I was able to unlock the phone myself - I had to discover who it was locked to and get it unlocked on my own. This took about 4 months.
Overall the phone came exactly as described minus being network locked.
