I purchased this phone for a friend that needed a replacement for his iPhone 6. I suggested using Swappa as I had a positive experience purchasing a phone for myself.
On the positive side, the phone was shipped and received promptly. It appeared to be in good condition and as described in the listing.
However, the phone would not hold a charge and the volume buttons did not work. My friend took the phone to an Apple Store. They did a diagnostic test and determined that the battery failed and would not take a charge, (the listing said it had 87% capacity left), that the volume control was nonfunctional, and when the phone was opened to replace the battery, (Apple charged $49 for battery replacement), the interior of the phone so full of dirt and dust that it was responsible for the volume control problem. Fortunately the Apple Store was able to service the phone and get it working properly, at a cost to my friend.
I will not be recommending Swappa. One bad experience is one too many.

The phone was in mint condition, but was locked to TracFone, and I couldn't use it because my carrier is at&t. Was refunded after the phone was returned.
