Phone arrived 1 day earlier than expected which was nice. Absolutely no issues, everything seems OEM, parts wise. Battery seems to be replaced through apple recall, which is appreciated. 10/10 buying experience.

MacBook Laptop had corrupt serial number, could not log in with Apple ID. Apple's senior level support recommended that the laptop be returned, after 2 hours on the phone.

Seller sent shipping label, received my return, took 10 days to start a refund process on Paypal, then canceled the refund 5 days later.

Seller shirked responsibility, claimed a refund was sent, even sent a screenshot of the refund with cancellation cropped out.

Swappa staff recommended I file a dispute with Paypal.

Paypal dispute was difficult due to canceled refund. Dispute was declined, so I had to chat with a paypal rep to get proper resolution. Took lots of time and effort.

Seller was polite up until it was time to send me a refund, then they became duplicitous, dishonest, and irresponsible.

Based on other reviews and the corrupt serial, I suspect they are peddling stolen goods.
Based on their behavior in this transaction, I guess they are intentionally trying to rip off buyers.

We do not do partial refunds! No returns unless the device is not as described.
3.5% fee will be applied to any order cancellations regardless of the reason or buyer remorse returns to cover PayPal or Stripe fees. Any buyer remorse returns will also be charged a $10 fee if the order already shipped or received to help cover any shipping costs.
