First of all, the seller was AWESOME and offered a prompt refund if we were concerned about the existing Applecare tied to the device. We chose to keep it because it was in great shape and worth a small risk.
My only concern is Apples verbage on Applecare product returns that can happen anytime during the lifecycle of the careplan. However, Apple does provide a manner in which to transfer Applecare into your name. It would be great provide to the new buyer.
