The Pixel 8 Pro is a step up from the Pixel 5a 5G I was using--better photos, faster app loading. The battery doesn't last me quite as long. I miss the dedicated fingerprint reader on the back of the Pixel 5a 5G.

I hadn't used a Pixel since my Pixel 2. I purchased this as the OnePlus 7 Pro I had prior was starting to (finally) give out.

I absolutely love everything about it, especially the amazing camera. However, there is one major drawback keeping it from earning 5 stars in my eyes.

That is, the fingerprint reader is a major step back from the capacitive fingerprint sensor I used to have YEARS ago on my Pixel 2! It is pretty frustrating to use, and I don't think it's an exclusive issue to the Pixel. The OnePlus 6T & 7 Pro in-screen fingerprint sensors were almost as terrible.

Thankfully, the face unlock works very well in decent lighting conditions, and essentially everything else is amazing & productive for a daily phone. I don't game, so features like call screening are infinitely more valuable to me than raw performance.

I purchased it and got this phone at a significant discount. I would be more upset if I paid full price and had to deal with this ridiculously bad fingerpint sensor. Others have reported 0 issues with it, so perhaps it is my type of skin that is incompatible with it.

I'm a big fan of the Pixel phones and this one did not disappoint! I've been buying from Swappa for 7 years now and will continue to do so. The sellers can be trusted to offer exactly what they say.

The Goo Pix 8 Pro w/256 is pretty sweet! A little diff compared to my old Samsung, but I'm glad that I made the switch. Price was way better than anything else that I've seen out there. Excellente experience! Thanks!

Awesome camera! Really quick and snappy android performance. Last phone I had was given to me by work was an iPhones 11. Great feel & especially weight with spigen case, pixel 8 pro feels considerably lighter in weight compared to newer iPhones and galaxies.
