I bought this too replace an older version of this type of laptop that after many years, died. But I am pleased with the performance so far.

I was mislead into thinking I received a good working computer, when in actuality I was sold a product with a faulty backlight. The seller is denying responsibility and saying he is not liable for the product once it is out of his care.

Just as expected, only a minor speaker issue, that seller helped to rectify.

Website said good condition, but it's excellent/mint condition for me!

Not sure how this applies since this review is for a marketplace where I bought an Apple product that Swappa doesn't make or have any relation with.

This is everything I was hoping to get in a laptop and it works great. Very happy with this purchase.

So far, so good! I’m still learning the different new capabilities and features with this model and Catalina OS. I was a little nervous about the butterfly keyboard since it has gotten so much negative press. So far, I haven’t had any issues with it. I like the Touch Bar, and am learning how to best use it.

Quality is fabulous except for the keyboard - which has been fixed in the MacBook Pro 16". Can get functional laptops for much less, but the build quality and (unix-based) software make this an irreplaceable work horse for me.
