Even in 2020 this is a great buy. Last Macbook with normal ports (not just usb c) and upgradeable storage, as well as not having the awful butterfly model on the 2016-2019 models. If you're looking for a good Macbook, either go with this model with the dedicated GPU or the 16" 2019 MBP because that one also doesn't have the butterfly keyboard. The quad-core i7 flies through everything for me and 16 GB of ram is plenty today.
