BuyBack Engineer was started with the idea that there’s plenty of quantity of pre-owned devices to go around but not enough quality. Too many sellers try as hard as they can to wash their hands as soon as they’ve mailed out an order.

We do it differently. We think it makes a difference when a seller or company follows up with a customer to check in on how they’re enjoying the device. We’ve found that customers sometimes have questions they otherwise wouldn’t have reached out to ask had we not checked in. In fact, doing this has even cost us a few returns that maybe a customer wouldn’t have bothered to initiate.

Why do we do this? Well, we know there’s a lot of junk out there that gets sold to consumers and it doesn’t sit right with us. Pre-owned iPhones can be a pretty hefty investment and you want to be sure you’re getting a good quality device. This is why we back everything we sell with a full 6 month warranty and a lifetime LCD guarantee (yes, we really mean lifetime).

What else makes us different? Hassle free returns. You bought something and realized you didn’t want it or need it. We’ve all been there. We allow returns for any reason up to 15 days from the day the device was delivered, not just the day you purchased it and we even cover the cost to ship it back. All we ask is the device be in the same condition and that we keep a small 3% restocking fee, which is the lowest in the business.
