Galaxy S6 edge+ vs Galaxy S8

Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ to a newer generation Galaxy S8 brings several new hardware and software improvements. The biggest being the Galaxy S8's 5.8-inch 18.5:9 curved display, IP68 water resistance, and 3,000mAh battery. Other upgrades include a Snapdragon 835 processor, always-on display, micro SD card support, on-screen navigation buttons, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, iris scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C charging port. The camera, which features a slightly lower resolution 12MP sensor, also saw a slight improvement with dual pixel phase detection autofocus and faster f/1.7 aperture lens.
