Galaxy S6 Active vs Galaxy S8 Active

Upgrading the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active to the newer generation Galaxy S8 Active brings a handful of hardware improvements. Upgrades include and massive 4,000mAh battery, a larger 5.8-inch 18.5:9 (flat) screen with on-screen buttons, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, always-on display, micro SD card support, rear mounted fingerprint sensor (the S6 Active doesn't have a fingerprint sensor at all), iris scanner, and USB-C charging port. The 12MP camera, while lower resolution than the S6 Active's, has been upgraded with dual pixel phase detection autofocus and larger f/1.7 aperture lens for better low light shooting.
