In comparison, the iPad (8th gen) measures 9.8” (H) x 6.8” (W) x 0.29” (D) and features a 10.2” display size. The WiFi-only models weigh 1.08 pounds and the WiFi + Cellular models weigh 1.09 pounds.

The 8th generation iPad display is larger than the 6th generation display, but the display tech and features are similar. The iPad (6th gen) and the iPad (8th gen) have an LED-backlit multi-touch Retina display with IPS technology at 264 pixels per inch, an SDR max brightness of 500 nits, and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. The iPad (6th) features a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, and the iPad (8th) features a 10.2-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1620.
