The iPad (10th gen) measures 9.79” (H) x 7.07” (W) x 0.28” (D) and features a 10.9” display size. The WiFi-only iPad (10th gen) weighs 1.05 pounds and the WiFi + Cellular model weighs 1.06 pounds.

The iPad (6th gen) has a 9.7-inch LED-backlit multi-touch Retina display with IPS technology and a native resolution of 2048 x 1536 at 264 pixels per inch. The 6th gen iPad display also features an SDR max brightness of 500 nits and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. In comparison, the iPad (10th gen) has a 10.9-inch LED-backlit multi-touch Liquid Retina display with IPS technology, a native resolution of 2360 x 1640 at 264 pixels per inch, and support for True Tone. Similar to the 6th gen iPad, the 10th gen iPad display also features an SDR max brightness of 500 nits and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.

The 6th generation iPad is powered by a 32.4-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and charges with a Lightning to USB charging cable. The 10th generation iPad is powered by a 28.6-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and charges with a USB-C charging cable. Despite the difference in battery capacities, both of these iPads are capable of offering up to 10 hours of battery life when on WiFi or up to 9 hours of battery life when using a cellular connection.
