Seller gave Swappa an IMEI to verify, but shipped a phone with a different IMEI, one that couldn't be activated. In resolving the issue, seller was slow to respond and ignored requests to issue refund, even after PayPal verified device had been shipped back and requested seller to issue refund. One week after seller physically received phone a refund was still not issued. It took me issuing claims with PayPal, my credit card company, and many messages back and forth to swappa. Overall I wasted a minimum of 5 hours of my time simply trying to resolve this issue, of which is still not resolved because the seller has not refunded me the shipping costs per swappa policy. Not to mention that the phone was a Christmas gift that I had to scramble and pay more to obtain a different one, which then didn't arrive in time for Christmas.
