Sure. You'd need to have the device powered on and connected to WiFi, and you'd likely need to pop in a sim card from some carrier besides spectrum so you can enter sim unlock code, but I'd be willing to handle the chatting with spectrum if necessary.

But tbh Elijah, that unlock date was really just me counting forward 2 months from when I bought the phone. I'll contact spectrum tomorrow and find out exactly when the phone will be eligible, and we can proceed at that point if you're interested.

Elijah, I just spoke with Spectrum support and it seems that their SIM unlock policy is different than Verizon's. They require the device to be actively tied to a line for 60 days before it can be unlocked, and since the device is unused, I don't meet that criteria. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
