About 11 months. Batteries never been a issue. Hope this helps.

Adding/Changing Greeting: Settings/Tools > Settings > Display > Foregrounds > Greeting Banner

the display asks you what youd like it to do. Is that what you mean?

Yes i included the directions in my first reply, but i cant confirm the directions since i wiped the phone.

its confined to the bezel it does not extend onto the screen. pretty much
