Hi. Thanks for your interest. The lowest I can go is $300 plus Swappa's $10 fee. The phone is only a month old with very little use and is in MINT condition.

Thanks for the quick responses. I purchased the white one for $300 that was on sale at swappa.

Hey Michael. I will buy your phone if I can sell it today. I have a Galaxy S3. If you actually want to. We can trade and you can give me some extra cash. My add is up here in Swappa. It's for Verizon.

Thank you,

Thanks for the interest. I'm only looking to sell at this point.

- Sep 19, 2012 - 06:07 AM

No problem. I'll buy it straight out in a couple of days or faster. If it's still available.

Hi Michael,

Would you be interested in shipping to Canada? (Greater Toronto Area in Ontario). If you don't mind the extra hassle, I don't mind the added cost of shipping.

Thanks,

Matt

Yes, I will ship to Canada. I need to find out what the additional cost would be to do so.

USPS International Flat Rate to Canada is $12.95. I would add $10 to the listed price to ship to Canada. If your interested, I'll update the listing price.

Correction: I will only ship to Canada through UPS. I don't think USPS offers signature confirmation for international shipments. UPS quotes shipping cost from my location to yours to be $24.01 I would instead increase the listing total by $20 to offset this.

Hi Michael,

It seems Swappa ate my comment. A coworker, who's as hard at work as I am, found this explanation about UPS and Canada in another thread:
The USPS shipping method will save you from the BROKERAGE charges that UPS or FedEx will charge you on top of tax and/or duty. When items are shipped via USPS, Canada Post will handle the delivery to you in Canada, they will charge an IMPORT HANDLING FEE of $9.95 if you have to pay taxes and/or duty. Key thing to remember here is Import Fee/brokerage, taxes and duty are all separate charges. What shipping USPS does is it saves us Canadians from paying a $45.60 brokerage fee compared to a $10 Canada Post Import handling fee.

I don't think the brokerage fee is $45.60, unless it's based on value. I've had to pay upwards of $20 in addition to duties to UPS, whereas with USPS, it was only the duties.

I checked the USPS intl. flat rate method, and there is a registered mail option, which would require a signature on my end.

If you can link me to where USPS will require a signature, I would be happy to go that route. I do not want to break any policy that would prevent me from being eligible for Paypal's seller protection.

I don't want this to be complicated, but want to make sure I'm protected here.

This USPS page explains how the Registered mail program work and states the recipient's signature is not required

I was using the postage price calculator on the USPS site, and was looking at the pop up box from the little ? icon. I now went one step further in their tool, which allowed me to select the 'customs forms and extra services' step. Registered mail is $11.75, making it not much different in up front cost to UPS.

Let me think on this one a little more, $320 got my hopes up, but $330 + $9.95 import handling fee + any other duties is starting to add up, and getting past my ~$300 budget a bit more than I'd like.

Thank you very much for the quick responses and looking into the alternative shipping methods. If the listing is still active, I'll let you know by tonight if I'm still interested.

Cheers,
Matt

Hey Michael,

I've never used Swappa before, but I've followed your listing for the past couple days. I'm guessing you didn't sell it, since you cancelled the listing? I live in the US, and I was hoping to jump on this tonight after some checks cleared, but saw it was cancelled.

Are you still looking to sell? If you are, please let me know. I'm totally willing to go through Swappa or whatever medium you feel comfortable with. Like I said, I live in the US, so any kind of domestic shipping would be fine by me.

Thanks in advance and looking forward to hearing from you,
Jesse
